Dynamical imitation of controlled movements
Dynamical imitation of controlled movements
In 1977 under the request of the organizations developed a design and the theory of a spacecraft "Buran", V.A.Sadovnichiy (pro-rector of the Moscow State University at that time) created the incorporated collective included mathematicians and mechanics of the Moscow State University, and also engineers and employees of Astronauts Training Center it. JU.A.Gagarin and NPO "Molniya". From department and related laboratories in this collective have entered V.I.Borzov, V.V.Alexandrov, JU.M.Okunev and other employees. As a result of ten years' work of collective the new direction of applied mathematics and mechanics - dynamic imitation of controlled movements has been created. Dynamic imitation of operated movement is understood as functioning such simulating movements of the stand, that target signals from measuring devices of controlled dynamic system (or from mechanic-receptors of man), placed at this stand, were similar to target signals of the same measuring devices at real movement of controlled dynamic system. Imitational dynamic stands, together with the computer network operating these stands, forms complex mechatronical system with three-level management. Practical realization of the developed technique and the software for the first time in a world practice of astronauts preparation has allowed to carry out through - from " rise before landing " - imitating modelling of space flight on a centrifuge with operated Cardan's support (V.V.Alexandrov). In 1989 developers was awarded by State premium of the USSR.
In the ninetieth years work has received unexpected continuation in connection with opening of a vestibulo-eye-moving infringements phenomenon in conditions of microgravitation. The detailed analysis of this problem and the experiment, lead by the collective with the rector of Moscow State University V.A. Sadovnichiy in the head in astronaut's training center (together with employees and post-graduate students of faculty under direction of V.V.Aleksandrov), have allowed to create a software of a new simulator of operated descent from an orbit of International space station. This work in 2002 has been awarded the State premium of the Russian Federation.
Now, according to the NASA project, the software of the visual control simulator of space "rescuer" - saver (by V.V.Alexandrov, S.S.Lemak, D.I.Bugrov, etc.) is developed.
Scientific interests of applied mechanics department are very wide. It is any operated dynamic system which object of management moves in space and time. An origin of object (natural or artificial) and its structure are insignificant. The purpose of researches of the department graduate - creation of mathematical model of controlled object and synthesis of the algorithms solving a task in view.
In this direction first steps are made only. Among the most important and perspective problems facing to faculty - problems of management of systems with the distributed parameters including elements of the continuous environment. Biological objects concern to such priority systems for department also.
